Ricky "Rick" A. Shelton

Ricky “Rick” A. Shelton, 71, of Bloomington, IL, formerly of Trivoli, passed away at 6:39 p.m., on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Carle Health Medical Center in Normal, IL. Rick was born July 30, 1953, in Peoria, IL, to Richard and Betty (Breaden) Shelton.

Rick is survived by his father; one brother, Dennis Shelton; and several nieces and nephews.

Rick is preceded in death by his mother.

Rick was an Electrician at Cargill in Bloomington, IL, for 35 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, traveling to visit his parents in Arizona, and going to the Grand Canyon.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Elmwood. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Elmwood Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trivoli Fire Department.
