Lowane Coppenbarger


Lowane Coppenbarger, 89, of Canton, passed away, Monday, January 29,2024 in Canton. She was born in Liverpool, on January 9, 1935, to Arnold and Sylvia (Riley) Rilea. They preceded her in death along with one daughter Vicki Hall, three brothers and two sisters.

Lowane married Gordon Coppenbarger on October 16, 1955 in Havana, and he preceded her in death on July 8, 2021.

She is survived by four children; Kelly Rawley , Sonja Cozad, Julie Coppenbarger and Gordon Coppenbarger all of Canton, one sister Beverly David of Liverpool, six grandchildren; Andrea Sorrells, Alicia Evans, Brandy Cozad and Jill Rawley all of Canton, Carly Cronk of St. Pete, Fl. And Ryan Cozad of Glasford, seventeen great grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Lowane worked at Sunset Manor for eight years as a CNA and Activities Director later worked as the Social Services Director. She also worked at the Riverview Inn in Liverpool. She enjoyed to crochet and her younger years. Lowane was of the Christian Faith. Cremation rites have been accorded by Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. Zoë Katherine Yerbic

Zoë Katherine Yerbic, 29, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at her home. She was born on September 1, 1994 at Graham Hospital in Canton. She is the daughter of Heidi (Jason) Williamson of Norris, and Scott (Maggie) Yerbic of Canton. She is survived by her parents, her children, Dylan Bethany Jayde Yerbic and Jensen Ean Thomas Yerbic, siblings, Ean Yerbic, Ethan Williamson, Ryan Yerbic, and Sutton Yerbic, the love of her life, Christopher Welbourne, her grandparents, Gary (Sarah) Smart, Kathy (Steve) Haffner, Sue (the late Steve) Rothert, Everett (Laurie) Yerbic, Don and Carrie Williamson, her aunt Holly (Corey LaRose) Blue, special cuzzie, Delaynee RayLynn Blue, along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Zoë was a gift to her family and loved beyond measure. She had the biggest, most tender heart and she loved with her entire being. She lit up a room with her beautiful smile and she continued to smile through her pain, still trying to help others while struggling herself. Larry, “L.D.” Moore


Larry, “L.D.” Moore, 70, of Liverpool, passed away, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at his home.

He was born on October 31, 1953, to Charles and Ruth Moore. They preceded him in death along with one brother Dewey Hall.

He is survived by his wife Krystie (Crawford) Moore, one daughter, Josey Moore, two step children, Erika Crawford, and Jamey Borden, two sisters, Linda (Rick) Klaasen, and Ellen (Dan) Whelan, and two grandchildren, Thurston Sisson, and Aurelius Phlug.

L.D. retired in 2011, from the Laborers Union #165. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping on Mark Twain Lake.

Jody L. Slater

Jody Lea Slater, a cherished wife, a devoted mother, and an adored grandmother, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11:48pm surrounded by her closest loved ones. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, generosity and enduring memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Born on September 23, 1953, Jody was a beacon of warmth, light, and compassion throughout her life. She touched the lives of many with her contagiously free spirit, sharp wit, outstanding sense of humor and unwavering love for her family and friends. Jody's journey as a wife began on June 17, 1972, when she joined hands with her beloved Thomas D. Slater. Together, they built a life full of shared joys, triumphs, and a deep connection that stood the test of time. They would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this June. As a mother, Jody was the epitome of selflessness. Her nurturing spirit and boundless love created a home filled with laughter, unconditional support, and a sense of belonging. She dedicated herself to the well-being and happiness of her children, offering guidance and encouragement with an open heart. Jody's legacy as a mother is imprinted in the strong, loving bonds she fostered within her family. Jody found immense joy in the role of grandmother, showering her grandchildren with love, wisdom, and the sweetest of memories. Her eyes would light up with pride as she watched each grandchild grow and thrive, reveling in the unique qualities that made each one special. A sports enthusiast, Jody delighted in watching Michael Jordan's era of the Chicago Bulls. The excitement of the game and the triumphs of those iconic years brought her immense happiness. Additionally, she had a special place in her heart for tennis, appreciating the grace and competitive skill of the game. Jody had a spontaneous spirit and passion for exploration and

loved to travel. She had a particular fondness for the beauty of the American West, where she found solace in the majestic landscapes and loved to share stories of her adventures. Jody is survived by her loving husband Thomas D. Slater, her children Stacey (Mike) Metz, Nikki (Mike) Reno, and Brandon Slater, and her cherished grandchildren Jabria Slater, CamieIle Slater, Alexavier Reno, Everley Reno, and Zayne Reno. Preceding her in death were her father, Hugh E. Hislope, mother, JoAnn Hislope, brother, Hugh E. Hislope Jr., and brother, James A. Hislope who all welcomed Jody into eternal peace with open arms. Jody had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and happy. In the face of sorrow, let us remember Jody for the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who were privileged enough to know her. Brenda Y. Mann

Brenda Yvonne Mann, 60, of Havana passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 9:43 a.m. in Canton. She was born on September 8, 1963 in Havana to Charles and Patricia (Seward) Jackson. She married John Michael Mann on March 26, 2011.

Brenda is survived by her husband, John “Mike” Mann of Havana; daughters: Kelli Jackson of Canton, Jessica (Cody) Price of Galesburg, Katy (Chris) Holt of Havana, and Casey Mann of Virginia; grandchildren: Alissa and Halie Siegfried, Layla, Talan, Hanna, and Liamm Price, Atreus Walker, and Max Holt; and great-grandchildren: Jaxon and Wynter Keefauver. Also surviving are her siblings: Trisha Walsh, Karen (Dennis) Howell, Charles Jackson, and Nancy Telander and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Brenda worked as a LPN for many years in Canton and Havana. She enjoyed cooking from cookbooks and made delicious cupcakes from scratch. She also spent a lot of time sewing and doing puzzles. She loved traveling and the outdoors, especially spending time at Siloam Springs State Park near Mt. Sterling and Jim Edgar State Park. She traveled all around the United States with her husband.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will follow the visitation at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.

Joseph A. Wilson

Cuba – Joseph “Joe” A. Wilson, 63, of rural Cuba passed away Thursday January 25, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.


He was born January 29, 1960 at Canton the son of Thomas J. and Virginia L. (Lafary) Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are two children, Cody Wilson of Canton, and Katie (Justin) King of Galesburg, two granddaughters, Rylee Wilson, and Oaklie King, one brother, Ed Wilson of Delevan, one sister, Cindy (Jerry) Buchen of Cuba, and his loving dog Dozer.


Joe was a farmer and worked for Thermogas. He then joined the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy and was their D.A.R.E. Officer retiring after 22 years. He worked at the Ipava State Bank for a while after retirement from the Sheriff’s Office. Joe had attended the Brock United Methodist Church in Smithfield. He was a member of the Spoon River Valley FOP Lodge 427. Joe loved working on his trucks, tractor pulling, and attending his children’s sporting events. He also enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters.


Joe’s funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday January 31st at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Pastor Ellen Dodd officiating. Burial will be in Baughman Cemetery at Smithfield. Russell Lee Chambers

Russell Lee Chambers, 86, of Ipava, IL, passed away at 9:10 pm on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. He was born on May 14, 1937 in Bernadotte, IL, the son of Howard and Alice (Chenoweth) Chambers. Lee married Merry Koelling on March 26, 1960 in Smithfield, IL. He was later with significant other, June Brooks. June preceded Lee in death on May 2, 2014.


Also preceding him in death is his daughter; Vicki Chambers, son; Trent Chambers, two grandsons; Joey Cheatham and Brandon Shaw, two brothers; Frank Chambers and Richy Chambers, and two sisters; Connie Fields and Geraldine “Sis” Myers.

Survivors include his two daughters; Tonya Hilliard of Bushnell, IL, and Tammy (and Cole) Younger of Grover Beach, CA, one son; Troy (and Laura) Chambers of Burlington, IA, six grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Larry Chambers of Bernadotte, three sisters, Dorla Helle of Cuba, IL, Judy (and Rollin Rumler) Rench of Canton, IL, and Lynn (and Roy) Spangler of Bernadotte, and several nieces and nephews.

Lee was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1956 to 1959.

He first worked for Penn Central Railroad before working for Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad where he retired from in 1999.

He was a member and former commander of the Ipava American Legion Post 17, a fifty-year member of the Ipava Masonic Lodge and a member of the Ipava Christian Church. Lee enjoyed mowing grass, tinkering with things in the garage and being apart of things at the Legion. He was a proud Marine and loved to brag about the Marine Corps.

Services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, IL. Pastor Brant Reed will be officiating. Military Rites will be provided by the Ipava American Legion Post 17. Masonic Rites will be held by the Ipava Masonic Lodge. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be in the Ipava Cemetery. A meal will be held at the Ipava American Legion following interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Richard L. Wilkinson, Jr.

Richard L. Wilkinson Jr., 63, of Canton, passed on Monday, January 22, 2024 at his residence. He was born on October 9, 1960 in Canton, a son of Richard L. and Janell (Fuller) Wilkinson Sr. He married Crystal Booth on February 6, 1982 in Glasford. She survives.


Also surviving is his mother, Janell Wilkinson of Canton, and his mother & father-in-law.


Preceding Richard in death was his father, Richard Sr. and one son, Jerimy Wilkinson.


He was a member of the Nazarene Church in St. David, was an avid deer, and duck hunter, and enjoyed fishing. But most of all, was the love he had for his family and his beloved dogs.

William Patton

William Thomas Patton, 76, of Havana passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 2:20 a.m. at Mason City Area Nursing Home. He was born on May 28, 1947 in Bermuda to William and Betty (Hasten) Patton. He married Bernadean “Bernie” Russel in 1999 and she preceded him in death on October 28, 2019.

William is survived by his children: Lori (Troy) Wickman of Havana, Todd (Nicki) Patton of Bethlehem, Georgia, Jeri (Jason) Shilling of Havana, and Heather (Stevan) Hofreiter of Havana; grandchildren: Taylor, Tory, Taryn, Britany, Jessica, Tanner, Trevor, Claire, Madison, Dominique, and Samuel; and great-grandchildren: Brooks, Hayes, Harper, Ella, Kyler, Korbin, Blakely, Brecken, Colter, Jaxen, Braelynn, and Lillian. Also surviving are his siblings: Shirley Valdez of Peoria, Jean (Stan) Miller of Clinton, Mary Harris of Peoria, Terry Patton of Seattle, Washington, and Thomas Patton of Claymont, Delaware. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, son, Troy Patton, and sister, Jan Sherwood.
William retired from Caterpillar after 35 years. He enjoyed his backyard pond, gardening, golf, and especially fishing, which is what brought him to Havana. He enjoyed being around his faithful dog, T as well. William loved T and always spent as much time as possible with him. He was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved watching his grandchildren play sports.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., also at Hurley Funeral Home. Rev. Tanner Patton will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.

James L. Kuharich

James L. Kuharich, 90, of Canton, passed away at 8:23 am, January 25, 2024 at Red Oak Estates in Canton. He was born on October 9, 1933 in Canton to Frank Sr. and Paulina (Cencic) Kuharich. He married Patricia Pearson on December 26, 1953 in Canton. She preceded him in death on January 21, 2024, along with his parents, one son Mark Kuharich and one brother Frank Jr. ‘Frankie” Kuharich.

Surviving is one daughter Gina Anne (Dan) Sandman of Lewistown and one granddaughter Molly Sandman.

Jim graduated from Canton High School in 1951 where he was a proud Little Giant basketball player. He served in the US Army from 1953-1955. He was a life time member of Canton VFW and American Legion. Upon returning to Canton, he owned and operated Jim and Larry’s Barber Shop for over 50 years.

The family would like to thank Red Oak Estates and Transitions Hospice for the care they provided to Jim and Pat.

Cremation rites will be accorded with the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A private family service and burial of ashes at St. Josephs Cemetery will take place at a later date. David Guilliams

David L. Guilliams, 56, of Monterey, passed away peacefully at his home with his partner in life, Shelly Pearson, after a battle with cancer.

He was born on October 17, 1967 in Peoria to Harold Paul “Butch” and Bertha “Joan” (Fail) Guilliams. He was preceded in death by his father.

David was a hard worker and most proud of the company he founded, owned and operated, Davco Material and Services.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, off-roading, snowmobiling, ATV riding and motorcycles. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

He also served in the U.S. Army.

Cremation rites have been accorded with the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Donald L. Smith

Donald L. Smith, 84, of Astoria, IL, passed away at 1 am on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville, IL. He was born on July 15, 1939, in Astoria, the son of Eldon and Leona (Ebbert) Smith. Don married Sondra J. Zeisler on June 30, 1961 in Rushville. Sondra preceded Don in death on August 19, 2023.


Also preceding him in death are his parents and one sister; Betty Curtis.

Survivors include his daughter; Tammy (and David) Meyer of Rushville, son; Jeff Smith of Astoria, two brothers; Robert (and Beckie) Smith of Harlingen, Texas and Dennis (and Jody) Smith of Fredrick, IL, and sister; Linda Billingsley of Huntsville, IL.

Don was owner and operator of Don’s Variety in Astoria. He also was a school bus driver for the Astoria School District for many years.

He was a member of Grace Bible Church; where he was a part of the Men’s Fellowship group and a head greeter along side his wife, Sondra. He was an election judge in Astoria for over 20 years.

Along with driving a bus for Astoria and South Fulton Athletic events, Don also kept scorebook for basketball games and was head of ticket sales for athletic events at Astoria Schools for many years. Don was also a former volunteer member of the Astoria Fire and Rescue Squad and Astoria Lions Club. He loved to fish and when he was younger, he loved to hunt squirrel and rabbit.

Services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Pastor Ben Murray will be officiating. A visitation will take place from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, January 26, 2024. Interment will be in the Christian Neck Cemetery in Rushville. Memorials may be made to the Astoria Fire and Rescue Squad or Grace Bible Church in Astoria.

Geraldine M. Myers

Geraldine M. Myers, 89, of Canton, passed away, Wednesday, January, 24, 2024, at Courtyard Estates in Farmington. She was born in Bernadotte Township, on January 31, 1934, to Howard and Alice (Chenoweth) Chambers. They preceded her in death. She married Dean Myers on June 23, 1951 in Cuba. He preceded her in death in December 27, 2000. Also preceding her in death is one son, Kent E. Myers, two brothers Frank (June) Chambers, Richy Chambers and one sister, Connie Fields.

She is survived by one son Kevin (Beth) Myers of Canton, one brother, Larry (Elaine) Chambers, three sisters, Dorla (the late Clifford) Helle, Judy (late Rollin Rumler) Rench, and Lynn (Roy) Spangler, a sister-in-law, Marcia Chambers and numerous nieces and nephews.

Geraldine is a graduate of Cuba High School, she later worked for Graham Hospital School of Nursing, and later retired in 2000 from Dr Carlos Funes Office. She was a member of Shield’s Chapel United Methodist Church, and a former Canton Moose member. She enjoyed going to yard sales and dancing with her husband. She loved her dogs and dog sitting her grand-dogs.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11 am at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a visitation one hour prior at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at the Ipava Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Courtyard Estates-Betty’s Garden or Fulton County Humane Society or Shields Chapel Church.

Roberta M. Stear

Roberta M. Stear, 56, of Farmington, passed away at 4:20 p.m., on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at OSF Saint Francis Hospital in Peoria, IL. She was born October 17, 1967, in Peoria, to John and Carol (Washburn) Harper.

She is survived by two children, Jayson Stear of Kickapoo and Cory (Jamie) Stear of Elmwood; four sisters, Wanda Harper, Ruth Harper, Melanie (Curt) Rowen, and Jayne (Bill) Menold; and seven grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services at this time.

Ruthann Blanchard

Ruthann Furrow Blanchard, 81, of Normal, Illinois passed away on January 22, 2024 at Carle Medical Center in Normal.

She was born on April 14, 1942 in Kankakee, Illinois to Don and Mary Furrow. She married Ronald Blanchard on December 1, 1963. He passed away on June 21, 1994.
Ruthann is survived by her son, Brett Blanchard of Normal, her daughter Holly (Troy) Bonnett of Columbia, Tennessee, and her grandsons, Ryan (Cheyanne) Bonnett and Kevin Bonnett. Also surviving are her brothers, Jim Furrow and Phil Durflinger, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, two infant sons, parents, and sister.
Ruthann attended Normal Community High School. She worked several places over the years and retired from State Farm Insurance Company.
Ruthann’s grandsons were the light of her life and her heart. She was always the loving Nanna.
Ruthann loved spring flowers, so while cremation rites have been accorded, services will be planned later in the spring.

Alice La Fern Spotser

Canton – Alice LaFern (Pickett) Spotser, daughter of the late Goldie (Boyd) Pickett and Mylus Pickett went to meet her Heavenly Father on January 21, 2024.


Alice was born on February 29, 1932 in Cuba, Illinois. She was preceded in death by one son, Floyd Spotser III, and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by three granddaughters Tara, Allison, and Kristen, one grandson, Floyd IV, and one great granddaughter, Alice Jane. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.


She was baptized in Mt. Carmel and was a member of Assembly of God Church in Canton, Illinois, and later moved to Prescott, Arizona where she joined Alliance Bible Church. After six years in Arizona, Alice returned to Canton.


She attended Jones Fiatt Elementary School and graduated from Cuba Community High School. She was a member of high school chorus and band. She also participated in track and was captain of the basketball team. She then attended Bradley University.


Alice worked in the office at International Harvester for 23 years until the plant closed. She was a member of Harvester Girls Bowling Team.

Jacqueline M. Crawford

Jacqueline M. Crawford, 94, of 617 N 2nd Ave., Canton, Illinois, passed with peace and dignity into the arms of her Savior at 3:31 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2024. Her daughter was at her side.


Born February 12, 1929, in Joliet, Illinois, to Fred M. and M. Marie (Snyder) Grubaugh, Jackie married Lee R. Crawford on October 12, 1952, in Canton where they made their home and raised their children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee, who passed on September 24, 1993; her brother F. Eugene Grubaugh, and her nephew John Grubaugh.


Surviving are her four children Kathy Crawford of Kerrville, TX, Karen (Gregory) Zaborac of Canton, IL, with whom Jackie had made her home for the past two months, Robert (Sharon) Crawford of West Branch, IA, and Laura (Mark) Lantz of Clinton, OK. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Michael (Katie) Crawford, Kelly (Erick) Olson, Katherine (Aaron) Birkland, Stephanie Brown, Nicholas (Amanda) Brown, Matthew (Erin) Lantz, Aaron Lantz, and Andrew Lantz, and 14 great-grandchildren Jack, Ivan, Grace, and Ellie Olson, Liam and Emersyn Crawford, Andrew, Hannah, and Noah Birkland, Jaxson Brown, Kianna and Drake Dorris, Adryn Davis, and Lennon Lantz . For everyone, every birthday, anniversary, and Christmas was acknowledged with a card and gift with “lots of love” from Mom/Momo. Also surviving are her four nieces and many great nieces and nephews.


Mrs. Crawford retired in 2006 from Canton Union School District 66 where she joyfully served as Canton High School’s Library Clerk for more than 30 years.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton.

She loved playing bridge whether it was with family or at one of her card clubs. In her earlier years, Jackie also enjoyed bowling and golf.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Sedgwick Funeral Homes in Canton, Illinois. The Rev. Dr. Shalom Renner will officiate.

There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM before the funeral service.

Darrel Dwayne Green

Canton- Darrel Dwayne Green, 71, of Canton, passed away at 1:03 PM on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at OSF Saint Francis in Peoria, IL. He was born on August 30, 1952; a son of Earl and Juanita (Kitchen) Green. He was also a descendant of Patrick Green. He married Barbara Keime on July 11, 1987, at the Halford's Gun Club in Canton, IL. She survives.


Also surviving Darrel is his only son, Kyle D. Green; his beloved grandpup, Dux; several nieces and nephews; one sister, Shirley Parker.


Preceding him in death were both of his parents; one sister, Barbara Morgan, and two Brother-in-Laws, Tom Morgan and Tom Parker.


Darrel worked for Caterpillar Inc. He retired from there in May of 2001, after 34 years of service, Darrel also worked for Kroger's. He retired in 2009, after 6 years of service. He had many interests, one of the few includes riding Harley-Davison Motorcycles. Darrel also raised Horses for races, and even competed in Barrel Racing himself. He will be missed.


Memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Visitation will be held the same day from 11:00 AM until time of service. Lunch will be provided following the service at the Canton VFW. Cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Katherine M. Gronewald

Katherine M. Gronewald, 95, of Farmington IL, passed away on January 22, 2024 at Courtyard Estates in Farmington, IL.

Katherine was born on March 22, 1928 in Norris, Illinois to Marco and Mabel Picco. She married Harold Gronewold on July 31,1949. He preceded her in death on December 11, 2011. Katherine is survived by one son, Danny (Marcia) Gronewold of Summerville, South Carolina, two grandsons, Joe (Kristi) Gronewald of Trivoli, IL and Sam (Jillian) Gronewald of Summerville, SC. Also surviving are 4 great grandchildren, Sam and Jack Gronewald of Trivoli, IL and Bella and Rush Gronewald of Summerville, SC. Katherine was a member of the Farmington Methodist Church and the Farmington American Legion Auxiliary. She was a licensed beautician all of her life and enjoyed teaching Sunday school at the Farmington Methodist Church. Katherine also loved cooking, baking pies and quilting. But most of all, Katherine loved her family. She loved being a grandparent and often said being a great grandparent was even better Katherine lived in Farmington all of her life and was at Farmington Courtyard Estates for the last few years. The family would like to thank the staff for taking such great care of her. Funeral services will be Saturday February 3rd, at Oaks - Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Funeral is at 11:00 with visitation one hour before beginning at 10:00. Memorial contributions can be made to the United Methodist Church in Farmington or the Farmington Fire and Rescue Squad.

Laura Smith

Laura Smith, 46, of Peoria, formerly of Canton, passed away at 5:19 pm, January 21, 2024 at Sharon Healthcare Pines in Peoria. She was born on December 2, 1977 in Canton to Robert and Nancy (Cozart) Smith. Her mother survives along with two brothers; Bobby and Joe Smith both of Canton and her caretaker Michelle Locke of Canton. Laura was preceded in death by her father.
