He was born January 19, 1947 at Canton the son of Kenneth and Mary (Eskridge) Goodman. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ronald Goodman, and one sister, Rochelle Derry. Surviving are three nieces, two great nephews, four great nieces, and two great-great nephews.
Dave graduated from Lewistown Community High School in 1965, and then attended Western Illinois University in Macomb. Dave was the owner of Goodman’s Sawmill in Lewistown for over 40 years. Following a heart attack Dave enjoyed visiting the cardiac rehab in Havana and faithfully went there three days a week for ten years. He enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears, and Illinois Basketball.
Cremation will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11:15 AM Wednesday October 23rd at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 11 AM Wednesday October 23rd at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown.
