Norma L. Roe, 90 of Lewistown, passed away at 8:58 am Friday October 11, 2024 at Sunset Manor in Canton.
She was born October 26, 1933 at Oakwood, IL the daughter of Willie and Ardith (Hughes) Saults. She married Richard L. “Doc” Roe on May 26, 1951 at Palmyra, MO. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2019. She was also preceded by her parents, one grandson, Thomas William Roe, and one sister, Delores Zook. Survivors include one son, Rich Roe of Lewistown, one granddaughter, Stacey (Jeremy) Welch of Bushnell, two great grandchildren, Logan and Trenton Roe, and two great great grandchildren, Axle and Lorelai Roe.
Norma was a Registered LPN and had worked many years at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. She was a member of the Lewistown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing slot machines, watching the birds eat from her feeders off her deck, collecting angels, and decorating her home during the Christmas season.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am Wednesday October 16, 2024 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Shane Smith officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Lewistown United Methodist Church. Condolences may be made at henrylange.com
