Joseph F. Kalb, 52, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Loyola Medical Center in Chicago.
He was born on January 8, 1972 in Peoria.
He married Shanon Brown on April 8, 2020. She survives.
Also surviving is his mother, Judy Jordan, children, Jaydon Kalb, Christopher Kalb, Joseph Kalb, Derek Kalb and sister, Jamie Jordan and four children from his wife along with six grandchildren.
Joe worked as a security guard and a cook in Peoria and also at the Roadhouse in Peoria. He was a member of the Latin Kings of Peoria and was known as “Baby Jay”. He served the Lord as a Pastor. He was a minister for the Tribulation Today Ministries and the Latin Kings and Queens for the King of Kings Ministry. He traveled to spread the word of Christ and handed out bibles along the way to various communities.
Cremation rites will be accorded with Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton.
A celebration of his life will be held by the Latin Kings in multiple states.
Memorials may be made to the family.
