Vera J. Boyer

Vera J. Boyer, 95, of Yates City, passed away at 8:33 AM on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at Farmington Village Nursing Home in Farmington, IL. She was born on June 22, 1930 in Tremont, IL, to Louis and Elizabeth (Siebenthal) Moser. She married Robert “Bob” Boyer on July 6, 1951in Tremont, IL. He preceded her in death on August 15, 2017.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; two sisters

She is survived by three sons, Tom (Vickie) Boyer of Yates City, IL, Terry (Leslie) Boyer of Peoria, IL, and Steve (Debbie) Boyer of Elmwood, IL; seven grandchildren, Brittany (Mike) Jankowski, Morgan (Jerrid) Fuller, Ben Boyer, Gregory Boyer, Amanda Boyer, Brandon (Alicia) Provence, and Amanda (Derek) Joos; five great-grandchildren, Riley Jankowski, Maddux Provence, Payton Provence, Jaxon Joos, and Rosie Joos; and one sister, Wilma Nafziger.

She was a member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church and Farmington Moose Lodge #1571. Vera loved flowers and was an avid gardener.
