First and foremost, George was a devoted father who provided for his family any way he could. He worked for Midland Coal Company as a truck driver and was a proud member of Painters District Council 58 Local 90. He loved farming the family land with his father, always on his John Deere tractors. With his sister Charlotte, he operated Golden Acres Retirement Home in Canton, where his warm stories and easy way with people left a lasting impression. Most of all, George cherished his family and every moment spent with them.
