He is also survived by four children, Amy (Steve) White, Angela Hughes, Jeffrey (A.J.) Thompson, and Jordan (Leesa) Thompson; four grandchildren, Elijah Thompson, Ezekiel Thompson, Lenny Thompson, and Alexis Stufflebeam; one great-grandson, Elliott Oatman; two brothers, Michael Stufflebeam and Tommy (Shelly) White; one sister, Robyn Stufflebeam; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Caleb Weaver; and grandma and grandpa Stufflebeam.
Rodney worked and retired from the Illinois River Correctional Center after 25 years. He also worked for the Lewistown auxiliary police. He was a member of the Lewistown Masonic Lodge. He was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider. He was also a knife and gun collector. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and traveling with his wife.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2025 at the Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in rural Lewistown, IL. A memorial service will be held the same day following the visitation at 12:00 PM. Pastor Kathy Barrett will officiate. Burial will follow service at Apple Cemetery in rural Lewistown, IL. Family asked the service to be casual wear and guests are welcome to wear black and orange to resemble the Harley Davidson colors. Memorials may be made to the Richard L.
