Kathryn McCoy, 68, of Cuba, passed away on April 14, 2026 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on September 2, 1957 in Canton to Wayne D. and Patricia M. (Hamm) Ward. Kathy married David McCoy on March 29, 1997 in Peoria. He survives along with her brother Verle J. Ward of Dunfermline, four sisters; Janet Scalf of Canton, Cheryl Hart of Canton, Vicki McCallister of Dunfermline and Lois Harris of Fairview and numerous nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Anthony Ward.Kathy liked fishing, gardening, watching the hummingbirds and just being outdoors.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. There will be no services, per her wishes.
