Known to most as Kenny, he was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, someone whose presence brought steadiness, laughter, and warmth to those who knew him.

Kenny was a proud and loving grandfather to Ayden, Ava, Oliviah, Rayah, Addison, Dax, Elena, Lauriana, and Avery, each of whom brought him immeasurable joy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey and Barb Johnson, Charles and Betty Shumaker, all of Lewistown, as well as his granddaughter, Cynthia Graham.

A man who found peace in the outdoors, Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping; simple moments that reflected his appreciation for life’s quieter blessings. Kenny also had a love for bowling at the local alley, Linn Lanes. He was an avid sports fan and rarely missed a chance to cheer on his favorite teams. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Kenny was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country with honor. He dedicated many years of hard work to his trade, beginning in foundry work before continuing his career at Caterpillar in Mapleton, Illinois.

Kenny will be remembered for his enduring love of family, his strong work ethic, and the lasting impact he made on those around him. His memory will live on in the lives he touched and the family he so deeply loved.

Though he is gone from our sight, the love he gave so freely will continue to echo through the lives he shaped, and in that, he is never truly gone.
