Kim A. Crnkovich

Kim A. Crnkovich, 74, of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on May 29, 1951, in Canton to Paul and Darlene (Behymer) Crnkovich. They preceded him in death, as did his former wife, Karen Harris, one grandchild, Mason Crnkovich and one nephew, Johnny Barker.

Surviving are his children, Karlee Crnkovich of Canton and Kolin (Katy) Crnkovich of Canton; one sister, Jan Wys of Canton; and his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Phoenix, Eden, Lyla, and Drew and one niece, Kara Pigg.

Kim worked as a welder at International Harvester in Canton, later at Butler Manufacturing in Galesburg, and retired from ALCOA in the Quad Cities. He was an avid outdoorsman who spent much of his time on his property west of town hunting, fishing, trapping and shooting guns. One of his hobbies was loading his own ammo. He also enjoyed riding his Harleys and restoring old muscle cars.

Most of all, Kim was a devoted father and grandfather who treasured the time he spent with his family.

Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A private family celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Fulton County ABATE. To leave online condolences, please visit oakshinesfuneralhome.com.
