Beth Ann Beebe Johnson, age 49 passed into the loving arms of many who were waiting for her on Feb. 6, 2026. She valiantly fought a three year battle with amazing bravery!
Beth was born on May 26, 1976, to Ron and Jeanne Beebe and her very excited big sister, Jenny!
She played all the sports she could while in high school with basketball and softball being her favorites. She greatly admired her coaches Perry Miller, Greg Bennett, Jerry Wilson, Mel Casper and Ron Madden. Beth graduated with the Class of 1994. She continued playing at Spoon River College where she made many new friends. She loved her years and friends at WIU and maintained all those friendships.
Beth met and married Steve Johnson in 2003, and together they built a wonderful life and beautiful family with their three children Tanner, 21, Abbie, 19, and Campbell, 15. Her family was her everything! She was so proud of Tanner who recently started training at the Police Academy, Abbie’s years of beautiful dancing and music and starting her college career goals, and watching Campbell play baseball and basketball but much to his mother’s chagrin Campbell is a diehard Cub fan! Tanner, Abbie, and Campbell your mom loved and protected you with every fiber of her being.
Beth had great pride for Lewistown High School and coached for many years in the softball and basketball programs.
Through the years Beth had worked in birth to three early intervention programs and most recently had worked in the Cuba School District along side her dear friend, Jackie.
We as her family can’t imagine this life without her even though she was a St. louis Cardinal fan!
Beth is survived by her parents, her amazing husband Steve and beautiful children, Tanner, Abbie, and Campbell.
Three sisters, Jenny ( Mark) Beatty, Ronni Mayo- Gaston, Angie Beebe (Beau Carruthers) all of Lewistown.

Beth was preceded in death by her grandparents Don and Babe Ford, Buck and Ruth Beebe and their daughter, Lois. Aunts, Evalyn Boyd, Hazel Cyphers, and Jan (Uncle Ron) Bordwine, all dearly loved by Beth.
We can already hear the shuffling of cards, rolling dice, laughter and the beautiful flutter of angel wings!
You’re beautiful, bigger than life smile will forever remain in our hearts and help heal us.
Beth was so grateful for the community who so generously and lovingly supported her in her battle.
With brave wings she flies!
