Also, preceding Dorothy in death were her parents, son Daniel Rusch, brother, William Wagner, sisters, Matilda Schulz, and Mary Dungan.
Surviving is her children, Irene (Michael) Endress of Monmouth; Debra (David) Losher of Rockford; John Rusch of Middlegrove; Katherine (Mark) Umholtz of Mapleton; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and one on the way, and sister, Eileen Harding of Glen Carbon, Illinois.
Dorothy loved raising her children, and caring for their home in her earlier years, later in life, she worked for Trivoli Bank as a custodian & carrier for over 25 years. She was an avid gardener, and lifetime member of the St Paul Lutheran Church in Brimfield.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, where visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the services. Pastor Michael Wagnitz will officiate. Burial will follow the services, and take place in Penn Ridge Cemetery in rural Trivoli.
