Fannie E. Liverett

Fannie E. Liverett, 94, of Cuba passed away Tuesday January 9, 2024 at the Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba where she was a resident.


She was born November 11, 1929 at Cuba the daughter of Guy and Virginia (Bernard) Gilmore. She married Travis Liverett on October 28, 1948 at Cuba. He died December 24, 1961. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers. Surviving are six children, Susan Liverett of Cuba, Aaron Liverett of Canton, Travis Liverett of Quincy, Gwen Cozart of Galesburg, Joyce (Bob) Johnson of Quincy, and Cheryl (James) Bell of Augusta, twelve grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.


Fannie was a homemaker and had worked as a CNA at nursing homes in Camp Point and Quincy. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Canton. She was also a member of the Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1 ladies auxiliary. Fannie enjoyed crocheting, playing scrabble, and visiting with family and friends.


Cremation will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday January 20th at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Pastor Craig Yarde officiating. Burial of ashes will be at Cuba Cemetery in Cuba. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home. To send online condolences visit henrylange.com.
