Betty J. Farrare

Betty J. Ferrare, 93, of Bartonville, IL, passed away at 1:08 PM on Monday, January 15, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was born on December 13, 1930 in Bartonville, IL to Frank and Jennie (Trotter) Zachman. She married John Ferrare on December 30, 1950 at the Bartonville Methodist Church in Bartonville, IL. He preceded her in death in 2007.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; two children Patty Small and Larry Ferrare; one sister; and five brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Cindy (Rick) Churan of Sun Prairie, WI; son-in-law, Jack Small; daughter-in-law, Deborah Ferrare; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Bartonville United Methodist Church in Bartonville, IL. She enjoyed playing cards, crosswords and travel.

Graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria, IL with a luncheon following. Pastor Erin Totten-Jones will officiate.
