He was born on October 2, 1950 in Galesburg to Lester and Gladys (Landon) George.
Surviving are his children, Gladys (Clarence Lamb) George of Galesburg, Brandon George of Galesburg, Jeremy (Alisha) George of Galesburg, his significant other, Susan Blake, her children, Amber (Daniel) Burnett of Canton, Jeffrey (Mallery) Blake of London Mills, Robert Blake of Winfield TN
Penny Hazen of Davenport Iowa, Deryl Blake of Hanna City IL, six grandchildren and friend of the family, Sarah (Nick) Payne of Abingdon, IL.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Ogden) George, one brother and three sisters.
Mike worked as an over the road truck driver for several years and then drove an escort vehicle for wide load truckers. He enjoyed camping and playing the construction video games. He was a member of the Vulcan Motorcycle Club.
Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
