Canton- Cynthia Sue LaSalle, 64, of Canton, passed away at 8:20 AM on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on April 28, 1959 in Ellisville, daughter of Marvin and Eva Lou (Shields) White. She married Jon LaSalle on May 4, 1989 in Latham, Illinois. He survives.
Also surviving is one daughter, Misty (Jessie) Jump of Canton; one son, Chris LaSalle of Canton; three granddaughters, Kasi (Jaren) Kimiko of Canton, Kandace Bosserman of Normal, Serina Jump of Canton, and one brother, Bruce White of Ellisville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Sabastian.
In her younger years, Cynthia worked as a candy-striper and an aide, this is how she met her husband, Jon. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Canton. She loved to garden, do crossword puzzles, but most of all, was spending time with her granddaughters. Cynthia had many friends and family members in Fulton and Macon Counties.
Per Cynthia’s wishes, there will be no services, her body will be donated to science, through the Anatomical Gift Association of Illinois.
