She was born on June 27, 1931 in Orion Township to Hugh and Emma (Weers) Haggerty. They preceded her in death.
She married Gerald R. Dieckow on November 4, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Surviving is her daughter, Katherine (John) Carver of Canton, Todd (Katherine) Dieckow of Atlanta, IL, grandchildren, Angela (Dr Richard) Olson, Jarrod (Sheila) Carver, Troy (Andrea) Dieckow, Dr Nathan (Debra) Dieckow, Candace Dieckow, great grandchildren, Randolph and Raegan Olson, Noah and Olivia Dieckow, Ethan and Ivy Dieckow along with two step great-grandchildren and five step great great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death is her great great-granddaughter, Ava Rose Dieckow.
Helen spent her entire life working on the family farm. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She was a member of the Fresh Fire Church in Canton.
Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded through the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton.
A graveside burial of the ashes will be held at Penn Ridge Cemetery on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 1 pm. A funeral lunch will follow at the Dunfermline Village Hall.
