Bryce Lee Richardson

Bryce Lee Richardson passed away at his home in Havana on Monday, October 30, 2023.

Bryce was born June 11, 1986 in Springfield, IL to Douglas and Sheryl Richardson. He was a life-long resident of the Havana area. He attended New Central Elementary, Havana Jr. High and then graduated from the Havana High School in 2004. He went to Spoon River College and served in the US Navy aboard the aircraft carrier, The USS Harry S. Truman. He became a proud father of twin girls, Brylee and Brystol the day before Father’s Day, 2010. He later worked as an over the road trucker. Whenever his father would chastise him for his rough language, he would chuckle and ask, “What do you expect, you raised a sailor and a truck driver?”.
Bryce enjoyed spending time with his daughters; his friends: Patrick, Joey and Billy; as well as his dog, Brutus, who often accompanied him on his long hauls in the semi.
Bryce is survived by his twin Daughters: Brystol Susan and Brylee Sharon Richardson; Grandmothers: Sharon (Graham) Lance, Susan (Towery) Richardson; His Parents: Sheryl Richardson; Douglas and Julie Richardson; Brothers: Bradley Douglas Richardson, Brock Andrew Richardson (Lindsay), Brendon Lafe Ryder Richardson (Sam), Aunts: Jan Michaels, Cindy Lance, Robin Hannum; Nieces: Brooklyn, Brianna, Briella, and Dulcie Richardson; Nephews: Brent and Braxton Richardson, all of Havana.
Bryce was proceeded in death by his grandfathers: Paul “Chuck” Richardson, James Lance, step-grandparents Roy and Virginia Ryder all of Havana, and his beloved Beagle – Brutus.
Cards may be sent directly to Douglas and Julie Richardson at 855 N. Pearl, Havana or Sherry Richardson at 849 Blue Sky E., Havana, IL 62644.
