Canton - Tammy Murphy, 54, of Canton, passed away, Friday, December 30, 2022, at her home. She was born on September 24, 1968, in Canton. She is preceded in death by her mother, and stepfather, Gloria (Stevens), and Francis Brown, one brother Tim Scalf and one sister Tracey Duncan. Tammy is survived by her husband, Russell Murphy, whom she married on August 15, 1992, in Canton. Also surviving are two children, Caiden (Kirsten) Scalf of Canton, and Kaylah (Preston) Harris of Canton, three step children, Russell (Brandi) Murphy II of Ohio, Stacie (Andrew) Williams - Huslander of Galva, and Jennifer (Aaron) Williams of North Carolina, one brother, Tim Brown of Macomb, one sister Gayle (Mike) Lewis of Knoxville, fourteen grandchildren, Nate, Carter, Tyler, Hannah, Tanner, Cora, Graci, Hailee, Morgan, Alec, Elexie, Kenzleigh, Wyatt and Logan, and two great grandchildren, Joleigh, Liam and several nieces and nephews. Tammy's grandchildren were her world. She always loved spoiling and spending time with them. Tammy is well known for working at Canton Family Restaurant. Together with her husband they own and operate T-Murph's Seamless Gutters. She was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. Visitation will be held at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place immediately following the services at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
