He was born December 22, 1937 at Cuba, the son of James W. and Mary Ellen (Garrison) Grindle. Surviving is one sister, Mary Ellen Tanner of Mendenhall, MS; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
James was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday January 10, 2023 at Cuba Cemetery with Pastor Mike Arnett officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to (FCRC) Fulton County Rehabilitation Center.
