Canton – Curtis R. Krock, 96, of Canton, passed away at 1:20 am, Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born on September 16, 1926 in Canton to James R. “Bud” and Winifred H. (Williamson) Krock. Curtis married Alma Leta Oaks on January 16, 1949 in Canton. She survives along with three children; Wesley Alan Krock of Monkton, MD, Kevin Russell Krock of Rock Island and Terrisa Jean Gray of Oswego, KS, four grandchildren; Jason Wesley Stanley, Alison Marie Gabel, Jordon Wesley Krock and Nolie Elizabeth Krock and five great-grandchildren. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Gilbert Krock.
Curtis first worked as a farmer and at Johnson & Johnson lumberyard in North Bend. He retired in 1988 from TRW as a service technician. He was a WWII Navy veteran. Cremation rites have been accorded with Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton.
Services will be at 11 am Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the First Christian Church in Canton. A church luncheon will immediately follow. Graveside burial of ashes will be held at 1 pm Saturday, January 28,2023 at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton with Military Honors.
