John W. Shuh

Canton - John W. Shuh, 83, of Canton, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015, at his home.
He was born on August 20, 1931 in Dunfermline to Clarence and Gladys Winters Shuh.
He married Pauline Walker on Aug 30, 1958 at the First Baptist Church in Canton by the Rev. Bruce.
She preceded him in death on February 22, 2007.
Surviving are his son, Tony (Anna) Shuh, daughter, Lori (Doug) Moser, Grandchildren Dustin Shuh, Shylo Rich, Alex and Aron Whitehurst, Ryleigh, Andy, Justin and Mallory Moser and four Great Grandchildren
Also surviving are one sister-in-law, Peggy Ford, brother in law,  John Walker, and Nephews Alan and Jim Whitehead, his lifelong friend Willard ( Bill ) Jump who is just as ornery as our Dad. What stories they could tell.
Proceeding him in death are his parents, brother, Harold Ford, sister and brother in law,  June & Don Whitehead and Brother in laws, Jerry and James Walker.
He was a Korean War Veteran serving with the United States Navy from 1951-1955.
John retired from WABCO- Komatsu in 1990 with 32 years of service.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and was an inventor of, "who cares what it looks like as long as it gets the job done!"
John was always involved with his children’s sporting events and sometimes coached their teams.
He enjoyed his daily coffee at Hy-Vee with his friends.  He was of the Baptist Faith.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 1-3 pm at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton.  A funeral service will be Monday, April 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the Highbridge Cemetery in Dunfermline.
Memorials may be made to the St Jude Children’s Hospital or to St Jude Midwest Affiliate.
