Canton – David Ray O’Leary, 67, of Canton, died at 6:19 a.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 at his residence.
He was born in Canton on November 27, 1947 to Raymond E. and Josephine A. (Adams) O’Leary.
Surviving is one son Dennis (Lulu) O’Leary of St. Charles, two granddaughters Olivia and Julia, three brothers Dan (Daryl) O’Leary of Bloomingdale, Daryl (Joyce) O’Leary of Troy and Dana (Gena) O’Leary of Canton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Dale.
Dave was a retired millwright for Caterpillar, Mapleton. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam era.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. on Thursday April 9 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Graveside services with military honors will follow at 11:15 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery in Canton.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
