Lewistown- Dale E. Westphall, 93, of Seminole, FL; and also of Lewistown passed away Sunday April 19, 2015 at Largo Medical Center in Largo, FL.
He was born February 8, 1922 at Hebron, IL; the son of Albert Ross and Maude Marie (Stutes) Westphall. He married Ila J. Stockman on October 23, 1948 at Lewistown. She died July 4, 1992. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters. Surviving are two nephews, Larry Maxson of Seminole, FL; and Donald Gene Westphall of Locust Grove, GA; one niece Kathy Sue McKlesky also of Georgia, and a special companion Kit Fithian of Lewistown.
Dale worked in the furniture business both wholesale and retail. He was a US Army veteran serving in WWII. He had attended Lewistown United Methodist Church. Dale was a member of the Lewistown VFW Post 5001, and Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1.
A graveside service will be held at 11:15 AM Monday April 27th at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. Military services will be conducted by the Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and the Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1. Visitation will be held from 10 until 11 AM Monday April 27th at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown.
