Bob was born on December 18, 1943 in Oswego to Patrick I. and Isabelle (Damore) Molinari. He married Joyce Eileen Phillips on January 12, 1972 in Rochester, N.Y. They were married for 47 years until her death.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joyce, and his brothers, the Honorable Patrick (Evelyn) Molinari and Dr. James T. Molinari.
He graduated from Oswego Catholic High School, attended Syracuse University and graduated from Fredonia State University of New York. Bob spent his career as the director of development for several organizations including the Seneca Park Zoo Society of New York, the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, and the Salvation Army. He also managed the family business, Molinari Dry Cleaners, after his father’s death.
In his retirement, he enjoyed following his beloved New York Yankees, winemaking, and writing. Bob and his friends produced many award winning wines throughout the years. He authored the book “Joyce’s Ark,” telling the story of their lives together while caring for over 75 pets and animals on their small Oswego farm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Oaks-Hines Funeral Home of Canton, Illinois. A graveside service and internment of ashes for Bob and Joyce will be at a later date in Canton’s Greenwood Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at oakshinesfuneralhome.com.
