She was born in Marrietta, on February 19, 1939, to Bert and Mary (Barnett) Daniels. They preceded her in death as well as seven brothers, and four sisters.
Dorothy first married Roger Dunham, and later married Jerry Foley. They also preceded her in death.
Surviving are four children, Debbie (Steve) McPherson of Canton, Teresa (Tom) Kirkpatrick of Canton, Russell Dunham of Cuba, and Roger Dunham Jr, of Peoria, twelve grandchildren, Jim, Kristin, Stephanie, Jessica, Tyson, Zane, Kyle, Cassie, Sarah, Emily, Ava, and Renee, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dorothy worked at Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba for many years. She also worked at Goodwill in Canton. She was a member of the Canton Elk’s Lodge and a member of the former Canton Moose. She enjoyed shopping at Goodwill and Helping Hands, tending to the flowers at her home and playing slot machines. Most of all Dorothy Enjoyed spending time with her family.
Cremation rites will be accorded with Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A graveside burial of ashes will take place at Foster Cemetery on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Fulton County.
