He was born on December 31, 1933 in Virginia, IL to Walker Walter and Dora Geraldine (Jarrett) Mallicoat. They preceded him in death.
He married Mary Myers on December 30, 1953 in Lewistown.
She survives along with two children Randy (the late Denise) Mallicoat of Canton, Robert (Janine) Mallicoat of Canton, four grandchildren, several great grandchildren and brother-in-law, Earl Smith.
Also preceding him in death is one daughter, Roberta Smith, two brothers, Warren “Pete” Mallicoat, Merle “Pert” Mallicoat and two sisters, Helen Frances Anderson and Mary Lou Bavard.
Bob retired from Caterpillar in 1990 after 40 years of service. He later worked for Farm King for 27 years. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11 am, the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a visitation one hour prior.
Burial will follow at Cuba Cemetery.
