Canton – Richard D. Terry, 86, of Canton, passed away, on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
He was born on August 5, 1937, in Canton, to Walter Terry and Hester (Courtney) Terry.
He married Crystal (Behymer) on February 19, 1993 in Emmitt, Idaho. She preceded him in death in 2022 as well as a daughter, Robyn Walters, son Richard Hughes Jr., his parents, three sisters, and four brothers.
He is survived by seven children; Brian (Cherra) Hughes of Bella Vista, AR, Richard E. Terry of Canton, Rick (Tammy) Terry of Canton, Gary Terry of Canton, Beth Pemble of Canton, Diana Terry of El Paso, TX, and Alan Terry several grand, great-grand, and great-great grandchildren.
Richard is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He owned and operated a food trailer all across the country. He was well known for his giant jumbo corndogs and elephant ears. He enjoyed working on his truck and watching Nascar. He always rooted for Dale Earnhart Sr. and Jr.. Most of all he loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family.
Cremation rites will be accorded, a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 28th, 2024, at the Village Hall in Dunfermline, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
