Joyce A. Krause

Joyce A. Krause, 79, of Easton, passed away at Mason District Hospital, in Havana, at 6:50 a.m., on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. She was born July 15, 1944, in Lincoln, Illinois, to Clyde and Marjorie (Brooks) Siebenborn. She married Ronald Krause on July 28, 1963, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Havana.

Mrs. Krause is survived by her husband, Ronald, of Easton; three children: Brad Krause, of Chicago, Dean (Julie Roos) Krause, of Easton, and Tara Krause, of Springfield; grandchildren; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Mrs. Krause was a cook at the Easton school for over twenty years. She was known for her angel food cakes, babysitting, and opening the coffee shop in Easton with her husband, Ron.

Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, in Havana, on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Easton Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
