He was born in Chicago, on July 28, 1943, to Frank A. Horvath Sr. and Catherine (Marinich) Horvath. They preceded him in death as well as two sisters, Teresa Lindbloom, and Frannie Bokowy.
Frank is survived by his wife of 62 years, Margaret E (Parker) Horvath. They married on September 8, 1961.
Also surviving are three children, Richard (Tammy) Horvath, Christine (Doug) Henry, and Frank K. (Lynn) Horvath, two sister, Jenny (the late Jack) Halter, and Rosemary (the late Hank) Palmer, six grandchildren, Richard (Kelly) Shane (Rachael), Justin, Brent (Stephanie), Shavell (Miguel), and Brooke, twelve great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Frank retired from International Harvester in Canton. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton. Frank’s passion was for his draft horses. He enjoyed working them as well as farming with them.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. A horse led funeral procession will be held immediately following the Mass to St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. A funeral Luncheon will be held at the St. Mary’s Parrish Center following the burial.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
