He was born April 13, 1941 at Waterford Twp. the son of Paul and Becky (Jockisch) Irwin. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Beth Bell, and one brother, Jack Irwin. Surviving are one daughter, Georgena Fitch of Lewistown, one son, Mark (Lisa) Irwin of Lewistown, a son-in-law, Kevin (Beth) Bell of Lewistown, and four grandchildren, Kaylee (Stihl) Chalmers of Tallula, Alyssa (Kyle Dirksen) Irwin of Canton, Kelsey Irwin, and Bethany Roop both of Lewistown.
George worked for and retired from International Harvester/Navistar.
He enjoyed hunting, mushroom hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Cremation will be accorded. There will be no services. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at henrylange.com.
