He was born May 3, 1936 at Fiatt the son of Glen W. and Ruth (Young) Haynes Sr. He married Shirley J. Gaskill on March 16, 1958 at Canton. She died April 19, 2004. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Robert Haynes. Surviving are one daughter, Janice Haynes of Springfield, MO; one sister, Betty (Randall) Tuttle of Ft. Madison, IA; and one brother, Jack (Dorothy) Haynes of Burlington, IA; one nephew, Mark, and three nieces, Tammy, Stacy, and Wendi.
Glen worked at International Harvester in Canton retiring after 35 years. He later worked at Silver Dollar City in Missouri for 10 years. Glen served in the US Army reserves. He was a member of the Cuba United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Lions Club of Cuba for 50 years.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday April 11th at the Cuba Cemetery with Pastor Shane Smith officiating. There will be no visitation.
