Surviving are two daughters; Sarah Royal of Canton and Kara Royal of Chicago, four grandchildren Johnathan , Ashton, Draven and Ayden and her beloved cat Mr. Whiskers.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother Delbert.
Marilyn graduated early at the top of her class from Canton High School. She spent 35 years as a dedicated employee of Caterpillar. She was an active member in her church the first Baptist Church of Canton, where she proudly volunteered for many functions while her health allowed. Marilyn was a woman of faith and has now joined her Lord and savior.
Cremation rights have been accorded by Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society or to the Canton Santa Cops program.
