Georgia G. Kelsey

Peoria- Georgia G. Kelsey, 79, of Peoria, passed away at 7:15 AM on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Seminary Manor in Galesburg. She was born on May 17, 1944 in Marietta, a daughter of Gale and Fern (Taylor) Brush. She married Bert Kelsey on November 10, 1963 in Kirksville, Missouri. He preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, and one brother, Jim Brush.

Surviving are her three sons, Tony (Terri) Kelsey of Farmington; Scott (Marsha) Kelsey of St. Augustine; Clyde (Rebeccia) Kelsey of Farmington; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Dan Brush, and Bill Brush, both of Missouri.

Georgia worked and retired from Kroger grocery store after 20 years of service, and worked in real estate for many years. She was a past member of the Bartonville Baptist Church, and a member of The General Society of Mayflower Descendants, and enjoyed Genealogy.

Per Georgia’s wishes, there will be no services, cremation rites will be accorded through Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington. Memorials can be made to the Donor’s choice. To leave online condolences please visit www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
