Marvin was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, belonging to the Kingdom Hall in Canton.
Marvin was a hardworking man who took great pride in his work and the things he accomplished throughout his life. He worked as a union plasterer for several years before owning and operating Newman Plastering for many years. Marvin truly loved his trade and was dedicated to his craft, continuing to plaster well into his later years, even at the age of 86. He enjoyed working with his hands and took great satisfaction in creating something lasting. Over the years, he completed many projects at local Kingdom Halls and enjoyed putting his creativity and skills to use. Marvin also loved working on his own home, always finding another project to tackle and seeing each one through to completion. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed gardening and tending to the fruit and nut trees at his home. Whether he was working on a project or caring for his trees, Marvin found joy in staying busy and taking pride in all that he did.
