Jim Thomas

James S. “Jim” Thomas, 47, of Canton, passed away on October 5, 2026 at his residence. He was born on October 19, 1978 in Chesterfield, MO to John and Christine (Curtis) Thomas. Jim married Jessica Leonard on May 28, 2016 in East Peoria. She survives along with his parents of St. Peters, MO, two children; Logan Thomas and Kaitlyn Thomas and step-son Jackson Kehayias all of Cuba, sister Anne (Shawn) Brokaw of Troy, MO and nephew Owen Brokaw.

Jim worked as a voice engineer for many years. He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, son, friend and uncle to many.

Jim had a generous spirit and a natural gift to make people smile and laugh.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial visitation will be held on October 13, 2026 from 4-6 pm at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton.
