She was born in Galesburg to LeRoy Brennan and Terisa (Sanchez) Buck.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Cathy is survived by her mother and stepfather Terisa and Bill Buck of Smithfield, brother Kaiser (Holly) Downs of Bushnell, sister Jordan (Luke) Beekman of Macomb, aunts and uncles, Rose (Son Gabe) Medina of Galesburg, Jerry Sanchez of Galesburg, Harold Whiting of Burlington Iowa, Freda (Andy) Goodell of Marrietta, Joan (Todd) Justus of Missouri, Roger Whiting of Missouri, Wanda Goings of Belleville, Lorraine (Pat) Condon of South Carolina, Barbara (Bob) Genisio of Galesburg, and Audrey Huddleston of Galesburg, and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Cathy worked at Settler’s Grove Senior Living in Knoxville. She loved to listen to music and could sing any song word for word. She loved taking cruises with her aunts and cherished the time she spent with all of her family.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday October 25, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Settler’s Grove Senior Living 415 E Main St, Knoxville, IL 61448.
