Margery A. Hrecko

Margery A. Hrecko, 92, of Canton, passed away at 11:08 AM on Monday, October 5, 2026 at Graham Hospital in Canton, IL. She was born in Chicago, IL, to Charles and Agnus Stoll. She married Mike Hrecko on August 6, 1955 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2009.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Hrecko; and 5 siblings.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Hrecko and Doreen Fitch; two grandchildren, Nicole Fitch and John (Corinna) Fitch; one great-grandchild, Caleb Fitch; several nieces and nephews; also, her friend from The Loft, Denee Ivey.

Margery enjoyed playing cards at the Rec Center at Big Creek Park with her friends, Bev, Pam, Jean, and Phyllis. She also enjoyed quilting, puzzles, crocheting and knitting.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Visitation will be held the same day at the funeral home from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Pastor Micah Garnett will officiate. Burial will follow service at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton, IL.
