Lucinda “Cindy” Bishop

Lucinda “Cindy” Bishop, 70, of Wee-Ma-Tuk, passed away, Saturday, July 25, 2026. At Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago.

She was born on July 28, 1955, to Richard H. and Betty J. Shore. They preceded her in death as well as a daughter, Sara Perkins, and two sisters, JoAnn McMahill, and Karen Vendetti.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 28 years, Gary Bishop, they were married on June 6, 1998.

Also surviving are four children, Trina Derry, Tracie Lowder, Craig Bishop, and Karras (Julie) Bishop, brother Rick (Jeanine) Shore, three sisters, Judy (the late Bill) Bloom, Pam Shore, and Brenda Bryant, fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved yorkie, Angel.

Cindy worked in Havana at Phipps Patterns Foundry, and Poor Richards Restaurant. She later worked for TWL Aviation, at Canton Ingersoll Airport.

Cindy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and enjoyed to go shopping, tending her flowers, and being outdoors going camping with Gary. Above all else she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Cremation rites will be accorded with Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton.
