Connie R. Danner

Connie Ree Danner, 84, of Havana, formerly of DuQuoin, Illinois, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026 at 4:33 a.m. at Arcadia Care in Havana. She was born on September 5, 1941 in Kampsville, Illinois to James H. and Lida (Creason) Richardson. She married Charles R. Danner on July 13, 1964 in Bath, Illinois and he preceded her in death in 2004.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Jill Danner of Havana; grandchildren, Jami Danner of Bath and Robbie (Lindsy) Oller of Kilbourne; great-grandchildren, Carly and Jayci Frampton and Haley Waller, all of DuQuoin, and Ryleigh, Rynlee, Paisley, and Parker Oller, all of Kilbourne. Also surviving are her siblings, Barb Richardson and Robert Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Wayne, Jerry, Dicky, Larry Dean, and James (Jr.) Richardson.
Connie was a longtime resident of DuQuoin until she moved to Havana 6 years ago to live with her daughter. She worked at Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin as a Dietary Aide until her retirement. She was huge NASCAR fan and loved Elvis. All her grand kids were the light of her life.
