Bambi R. Markley

Bambi R. Markley, 48, of Table Grove, IL, passed away at 9:32 am on Monday, July 27, 2026 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on August 18, 1977 in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Delmar and Bonnie (Welker) Clark. Together since August of 1998, Bambi married Jamie Markley on July 4, 2009 in Table Grove. He survives.


Also surviving are four children; Quenton (and Dani) Markley of Green Bay, WI, Sadie (and J.D.) Wilson of Industry, IL, Gracie (and Mark Dennis) Markley of Wataga, IL and Rylie Markley of Table Grove, IL, grandson; Aiden Markley, parents; Delmar and Bonnie Clark of Astoria, IL, sister; Patti Clark of Rushville, IL, brother; Franki (and Ledena) Clark of Astoria, grandfather; Franklin Welker of Astoria, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is also survived by her “fur-babies”; Charlie and Lily, and her “fur-grandbabies”; Bear, Blu and Gamble.

Bambi is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother; Patricia Welker and paternal grandparents; Delmar and Barbery Clark, cousin; Kiki Kapraun and niece; Sydney Williams.

Bambi graduated from Princeville High School in 1996. She went on to work as a CNA for 26 years. She worked at several different nursing homes and facilities including Macomb Post Acute Care.

She enjoyed puzzles, coloring, and going to yard sales, where her daughters would often hear her say “It’s just a dollar”. Most of all, she loved her family and children. Bambi was always there for her children and whether it be camping trips, sporting events, etc., she could always be found taking them to these different activities.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Pastor Matthew Thiner will be officiating. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Summum Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bambi Markley Memorial Fund.
