Mr. Hoff is survived by one son, Michael “Pete” (Jill) Hoff, of Greenbriar, Tennessee; three grandchildren: Amber Harrelson, Shawn Hoff, Kara Hundley; four great-grandchildren: Reilly Durand, Liam Hoff, Raylan Harrelson, and Ryan Harrelson. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Bart Hoff; granddaughter, Markie Hoff; and siblings: Donald Lee Hoff, and Blanch “Tootie” Karasek.
Mr. Hoff served in the US Marine Corps, in San Diego, during the Korean War. He was a well known high school basketball coach in Ashland, Princeville, and Lewistown. He later coached for Robert Morris Junior College, in Carthage, Illinois. He was also the manager of Schissler Seed Company, near Manito, Illinois.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family burial will be held at a later date.
