Dayna Michelle Gale, 51, of Astoria, Illinois, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on October 24, 1974, in Rushville, Illinois, to Dave and Ida (Trone) Clark.
Dayna is survived by her parents, Dave and Ida Clark of Astoria, Illinois; her sister, MaryAnn (Jason) Bollinger of Astoria, Illinois; her brothers, Paul (Melissa) Ford of Dixon, Illinois, and Gene Clark of Astoria, Illinois; her son, Dylan (Madison) Gale of Astoria, Illinois; her grandchildren, Adalai Goins and Finnegan Gale; her nephews, Jarrett Bollinger, Jaron Bollinger and Benji Justice; and her niece, Peyton Messer.
Dayna's greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She cherished every moment with them. She also took great pride in supporting her son with his hobby of drag racing. Dayna also had a passion for gardening and was known for her green thumb. She especially loved the beauty of the fall season, enjoying evenings spent around a campfire with family and friends. Dayna enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was hunting or fishing with family and friends.
Throughout her life, Dayna worked in a variety of roles and was truly a jack of all trades. Among her favorite accomplishments were owning and operating Main Drag Bar and Grill, working at State Street with the Shawgo’s, and being part of the team at Bucher Boys.
In accordance with Dayna's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
