He was born on November 16, 1970 in Canton to James and Laura (Breese) Purtle.
Surviving are his brothers, Bill, Jack and Joe Purtle and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Jim, John, Terry and Donald.
Oscar enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
