Gladys M. Browning, 99, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Courtyard Estates in Canton.
She was born on February 16, 1921 in Table Grove to Wheeler and Ruth (John) Fawcett.
She married Claude J. Browning on December 25, 1938 in Macomb. He preceded her in death on June 3, 2014.
Surviving are her children, Barbara (Robert) Goodin of Virginia, IL, John (Rita Hatch) Browning of Normal, Stephen (Carolyn) Browning of Canton, one brother, George Fawcett of Tampa, one sister, Mary Lotz of MO, Seven grandchildren, Catherine (Graeme) Thomson, Cynthia (Tom) Brannan, Glen Goodin, Christine (Toby) Brake, Susan (Dennis) Stieren, Joanne Riss, Amanda (Bob) Benak, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Also preceding her in death is her parents, one grandchild, Sean Browning, six brothers, Charles, David, Wheeler Jr, Wayne, Eugene and John Fawcett, one sister, Elizabeth Hulett and daughter in law, Nancy Browning.
Gladys was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Canton.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 5-7 pm at Oaks Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. A graveside funeral service will follow on Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown at 1pm.
Covid 19 mandates will be followed with social distancing and facial masks required.
Memorials may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church or Meals on Wheels.
