Diana L. Cushing, 63 passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at OSF St Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
She was born on September 17, 1957 in Galesburg to Richard and Charlotte (Gardener) Walter. They preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son Michael Cushing of Raleigh, N.C., two sisters, Pam (Don Taylor) Walter of Fairview, Linda Rosecrans of Maquon, one granddaughter, Lucy Cushing, nephews, Logan Walter, Dylan (Zoe) Rosecrans, nieces, Kylie Rosecrans, Jennifer (Alex Spencer) Rosecrans and great niece, Ivory Walter.
Diana worked for OSF in the corporate office and later for State Farm Insurance in Bloomington. She was a member of the Maquon United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling to listen to the blues and was involved in the Blues Foundation, the River City Blues Society, the Mississippi Valley Blues Society and Tri Sigma.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a burial of her ashes will be held at the Maquon Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the River City Blues Society.
Oaks-Hines funeral Home and Crematory in Canton has been entrusted with services.
