Angela Jo Collins, 49, of Havana, passed away at 3:03 PM on Friday, January 22, 2021 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on August 31, 1971 in Canton, IL to Wayne and Cheryl (Atkins) Slater. She married James Collins on November 7, 1991 in Lewistown, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are her parents; step-mother, Diane Slater; three children, Addie Collins, Tyler (Shauna) Collins, and Angelique Collins; five grandchildren, Triston Dockins, Zayne Collins, Ariya Collins, Scarlett Davis, and Paisley Johnson; three brothers, Daren (Alisha) Slater, Brett (Nikki) Slater, and Jared Slater; one sister, Tracy (James) Downing; and two nephews; Garrett O’Connell and Wade Hunter.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Slater Jr.
Angela worked at Graham Medical for many years. She loved camping and playing cards. She absolutely loved being with her family, especially her grandkids.
