Sue (Shelton) DePinto, 79, of Elmwood, passed away at 2:40 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Farmington Country Manor. She was born on February 20, 1937 in St. Louis, MO to Willard and Marie (Price) Shelton. She married John DePinto on June 14, 1962 in Oblong, IL, he survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Todd (Susan) DePinto of Greensboro, NC, Jeffrey (Shelley) DePinto of Perkasie, PA, and Bruce (Candace) DePinto of Peoria, IL; and six grandchildren, Patrick, Danielle, Camden, Ruben, Benjamin, and Findley DePinto.
Preceding her in death are her parents.
Sue worked for nursing homes in Fulton County as an Ombudsman. She was a member of Disciples of Christ in Peoria and also a member of the Peoria Obedience Training Club, Dalmatian Club of America. She volunteered for the Crisis line in Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded with Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Homes in Farmington, IL. There will be no services. Memorials can be made to American Diabetes Association. To make online condolences you may go to www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
