Canton-Van J. Crouch, 53, of Canton passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016, at his residence.
He was born on August 15, 1962 in Mason City, Iowa to Harland and Jane (Gryls) Crouch. His father preceded him in death.
He married Renee Carl on October 7, 2006, in Canton, She survives.
Also surviving is his mother Jane (Dave) Pschirrer of Canton, brother, John (Mary) Crouch of Florida, sister, Sue (Doug) Manock of Canton, Nieces, Gabrielle, Olivia, Corie and Dawn and nephews, Cody, Michael and Nathan of whom he had a special kinship with.
Van was also preceded in death by his son Rory Carl and uncle Jim Gyrls.
He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association and raced flat tracks.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private burial of the ashes will be held at the Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. A celebration of Van’s life will be held at his home on Friday, March 25, 2016, from 5-8.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
